Sole E95S Elliptical MachineA new addition to the Sole elliptical trainers range 2016, the new Sole E95S elliptical trainer comes with impressive adjustable features for a more custom fit elliptical workout for multiple users.

E95S is a top of the line front drive elliptical trainer range from Sole Fitness. You can adjust your stride as well as your foot position and it comes with Bluetooth tracking.

With adjustable features, you get the most benefits out of your home elliptical machine suited to your fitness levels.

It is heavy (weighs 260 pounds), moving it around might not be a good option even though it comes with transport wheels. It is better to put it in a more permanent place. On the plus side, it is stable.

E95S Key Features

Workout Programs

The E95S comes with 6 preset elliptical programs, 2 heart rate interactive programs and 2 custom built programs.

Bluetooth Technology

You can now transfer all your workout data wirelessly from your elliptical to your smartphone and android mobile devices or other compatible fitness apps such as Fitbit, MapMyFitness, Apple Health, iHealth etc.

This Sole tracking technology is free to use unlike the iFit technology of the Proform elliptical trainers which needs a yearly membership fees. All you need to do is just download the Sole app and set up your account.

It is now easy to monitor and keep track of your fitness progress, definitely a motivating feature.

Power Adjustable Stride Length

Compared to the regular E95 which offers 20″ – 22″ stride, the new E95S home elliptical has a longer stride range from 18″ to 24″.

At the shorter end 18″ stride, you are simulating stepping motion. At the 24″ stride length, you are ‘running’ but without the usual impact on your knees and joints.

You can easily change the stride length while working out since the control buttons are conveniently located on the handlebars.

It is a great family elliptical trainer as you can easily change the stride length to suit the individual user’s height and stride.

10.1″ TFT LCD Console

With the large white backlit LCD display, checking out on your workout progress is easy on your eyes.

Besides being able to track your speed, incline, time, heart rate, calories burned, pulse and distance traveled, it also displays a ¼ mile track as well as a peak/valley graph.

The console comes with Audio Input Jack and built-in speakers. Just plugin in your MP3, Ipod, portable radio, CD player for some music while working out.

Another great useful feature of the console is the stop/reset button. If for whatever reasons you wish to pause the program, then you just press this stop/reset button once. The program will pause for 5 minutes. Just press the start key to resume.

User Weight Capacity

Maximum user weight is 400 pounds.

15″ Oversized Articulating Cushioned Pedals

To minimize the problems of numb toes, ankle or joint stress, a 2 degree inward angle was added to the pedals.

This simple adjustment puts the users joints back into central alignment which in turn reduces the pressure on the ankles, knees and hips.

On top of that, the foot pedals can be adjusted to suit the user’s style of pedaling. The pedals can be adjusted to 3 positions.

You have the pedals at zero angle or flat position when at the bottom of the elliptical cycle, followed by a choice of 5 degrees or 10 degrees. Just choose your most comfortable foot position.

You change the pedal positions by adjusting the pull-pin under the footpads.

You get to work different sets of muscle groups when the pedals are at different positions.

Your quadriceps get more exercise when your pedals are at the 10 degrees angle. Give your hamstrings and glutes a more vigorous workout when pedaling at the zero angle position.

Heart Rate Monitors

The e95s comes with pulse grips and is chest strap compatible.

Grasp the built in hand pulse sensors on the stationary handlebars to get the beats per minute heart rate to be displayed on your console.

Conclusion

The adjustable stride length feature is an attractive feature as you can adjust the length to get the most benefit out of it. This single feature makes it suitable for multiple users with differing heights and stride lengths.

With the heavy duty steel construction, you can expect your elliptical trainer to last.

Other great features such as articulating pedals, heavy flywheel for smooth motion, moving handlebars for upper body workout and Bluetooth technology feature make the E95S a club level machine but without the club level price.

Complete that with a good warranty deal and you get a quality elliptical trainer that is worth buying.
